Call for Submissions and Competition Guidelines for Book Award

The Dave Greber Freelance Writers Award was established in 2001 as a tribute to Dave Greber, a much published and respected freelance writer, storyteller and musician.

The award recognizes exceptionally well-written and researched work by a freelance writer by providing financial support while s/he completes a book-length project (non-fiction). Dave Greber had a passion for social justice, so stories that delve only into social justice issues will be given priority. To learn more please see About the Award.

Dave Greber knew that many freelance writers struggled to make ends meet as they completed lengthy projects.
